I was wandering through this pc looking for the graphics I need for my grandsons site (lost the originals in an upgrade) and I came across a scan of a plaque that me mam owns and I just lurv. I used to have it on a seperate page of the old website but ehh I’ll stick it here for all to enjoy 😉
It’s copyright Susan E Adams just so you know and I claim no hold over it apart from me mam owns it and I want it 😛
A fella who got the outline for a tribal sleeve dropped in a good few weeks back and asked if I could fix it seein as the boofhead that did it originally made a right balls up of it. He just wanted black but after a bitta yakkin he decided on blue tips with green.
The only problem is as you can see in the photo, the upper part of the arm needs work as the dipstick that did it confused his lines (you can’t see that) and an inner section that is sposed to be colour runs in to an open area that then becomes a coloured area so it’s going to be fun sorting that out. He also left a bloody big hole so Mark, the owner of the arm asked if I could stick a clown in it which I duly did 🙂 It’s getting there, I’ll be glad when it’s done (all colour and re-lined) and healed so you can see how bright the green is, it makes the bloody clown pop. A mate of his (Matt) is another full tribal arm I have to do, all black with grey wash seperators – geez I hate tribal…..
As soon as all the colour’s finished he wants it re-lined, which don’t stress me too much seein as I missed a bit on the clowns hair *eek* – not bad for someone who gave up tattoin’ on a full time basis some twenty years ago 😉
The next person that asks me to scan and catalogue years of family photo’s is gunna get a punch in da frote!!
Three days and I’m far from finished, I must admit though that when you have to stop coz ya larfin at something it does make it bloody hard to concentrate 🙂
That’s about all I’ve been doin of late – oh apart from drawing a floral tribal piece *shrug*
I’ve not been looking that hard, but when I did look I never found one so I made one.
What the hell am I rambling on about? A desktop picture of one of if not THE best looking woman (and a brilliant journalist to boot) in Australia, Tracy Grimshaw off Channel Nine’s A.C.A.
Most fella’s would prob have Carmen Electra or some Hollywood starlet, but none compare to Tracy, some of us have class and can see passed the botox (no I’m not saying the afore mentioned Ms Electra uses botox) and bucket loadsa makeup – Tracy needs none of that, a natural glamour is she!!
Below is a screen cap of the d-top, sucked in though I shrank it big time – if I’ve got to muck about with Alien Skin’s Blow Up then so can you mwooohahahahaha.
I’ll be stuffed but the Kakariki cock bird has disappeared. How he managed to get out of the aviary is beyond me, but he has. I like to think he’s off looking for his lost mate (see previous post) – “ya not gunna find her dude – but fly free.”
His name was James Bond. Why call him that? Well in the back wall of the aviary there was a little hole (ex screw or bolt hole), he used to sit near it and look out of it – sorta like he was spying on something.
Lost one of my birds today, the Kakariki hen. She was 5 or 6 years old and if you know anything about these birds you’ll know that they can’t sit still for very long but I managed to teach her to sit on my shoulder. Her mate is now flying around the aviary looking for her 🙁 not happy, me that is – well neither is he.
Just installed a wireless pcmcia card in to the lappy and while it works, it seems slower than the Belkin USB wireless adapter I was using??????
Ehh either the diagnostics is bs’in or it’s just an illusion *shrug* oh well, onwards n upwards.
Now hang in there while I sod around with this, it’s the first thing I’ve written in I dunno how long -maybe my muse is raising her head again.
Which is a teeny fib seein’ as I’ve had a poem published, but I also know I ‘likes what I likes!!’ Continue reading
